Faith Work

Faith Foo has built a career out of psychotherapy and coaching – CEOs, professionals, and other high-performing individuals. As a psychotherapist, coach and author, she started this profession 10 years ago and specializes in helping highly-driven leaders to stop reacting, lead with intention, and live out their most rewarded life. She has helped business executives, entrepreneurs and leaders transform their emotions into positive actions, create long-lasting, sustainable change, and lead a legacy of intentionality that inspires others to do the same.

She has been featured in some media outlets, including HealthToday, 1Twenty80, AugustMan, Twentytwo13, The Star, Malay Mail and more. She is one of the directors and founders of ABRI Integrated Mental Health a transformation center that does custom transformations for individuals, couples, families and groups.

Faith’s life experience has her value the transforming work in clients’ lives. In the world of psychotherapy and coaching where instead of the typical dry clinical boring model, Faith likes marrying psychotherapy and coaching human performance training which she loves into an integrated experience of life, creating a new paradigm in her works with clients.

For years Faith has been helping people at the most difficult times in their life and then rapidly stirring them into a zone of success in their resolute endeavors to use all of that potent energy in a directed way.

Message from Faith

We, all of us, are constantly evolving and transforming, and we have no idea what, who, or where we’ll be at the end of our transformation. In the process of transformation, you will uncover your stuck point, which I define as an area where you are living out of sync with your best self. And my job is to shine the light and get you realigned. Part of the reason I know I can help you accomplish this is what I’ve done in my own life.

First, as a therapist, I emphasize making changes from within, then coach you to make changes on the outside. To combine both the elements of acceptance, as well as control. Being both a coach and therapist that understands both emotional traumas and making major, structural life changes. I help hold you responsible for tasks and goals and will help you process the fear, anxiety, and sense of powerlessness that often arises in the face of living daily life.

Be your most intentional self and always be in self-awareness at every moment, navigating life in the direction of your intentions.

“Everyone is destined to experience not only the exhilaration of life, but also it inevitable darkness: disillusionment, aging, illness, loss, meaninglessness, painful choices, and death? We are all in this together and there is no person immune to the inherent tragedies of existence. ” – (Irvin Yalom, 2002)

Specific Issue (s) I am Skilled at Helping With

My work frequently leads me to clients with issues related to major life events; eg. marriage issues, divorce, bussiness issues, financial crises, health issues, quarter or mid-life crises, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), mood disorders, traumas,  depression, anxiety, work-related stress, anger issues, blended family issues, grief and loss, lack of self-esteem and career guidance.

I have been privileged to work with a variety of clients ranging from young adults to the elderly, from diverse racial, social and economic backgrounds, including locals and expatriates.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I have personally experienced change and transformation through psychotherapy and coaching. I marvel at the process of change. With that, I would like to reach out to help and assist individuals to experience the change process.
Nevertheless, change is not an easy process. Exploring and discovering oneself can be painful, that we experience wanting to give up in the journey. But it is only in experiencing pain that opens the way for healing and change to take place. Just like how a caterpillar metamorphose into a butterfly. This is how I see my clients transform.
