Guiding the Healing, Growth, and Transformation that everyone deserves.
From my personal struggles to inner transformation.
I have personally experienced change and transformation through counseling and coaching. I marvel at the process of change. With that, I would like to reach out to help and assist individuals to experience the change process.
Nevertheless, change is not an easy process. Exploring and discovering oneself can be painful, that we experience wanting to give up in the journey. But it is only in experiencing pain that opens the way for healing and change to take place. Just like how a caterpillar metamorphose into a butterfly. This is how I see my clients transform.

My Unique Approach
My work often brings me into contact with clients facing significant life challenges, such as marital issues, divorce, business struggles, financial crises, health concerns, quarter- or mid-life crises, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), mood disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, work-related stress, anger management, blended family dynamics, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, and career guidance. I have had the privilege of working with clients ranging from young adults to the elderly, from various racial, social, and economic backgrounds, including both locals and expatriates. In my practice, speaking engagements, and writings, I focus on:
Compassion
As a Malaysian Professional Licensed Counselor with a deep understanding of human emotions, my commitment is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely and find the clarity you need. We are constantly evolving and transforming, often unaware of where we’ll be at the end of our journey. In the process, you will uncover what I call your “stuck point,” a place where you’re living out of sync with your best self. My role is to shine a light on that stuck point and guide you toward realignment. I know I can help you achieve this because I’ve done it in my own life.
Expertise
I am the Founder and Director of Faith Foo Counseling and the Co-Founder and Director of Abri Integrated Mental Health. Clinically, I am a Licensed Counselor, Certified Coach, Certified EMDR Therapist (EMDRIA #53532391), Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, and an author.
In my coaching work, I collaborate with CEOs, professionals, and other high-performing individuals, guiding them to lead with intention and purpose. In counseling, I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, relationship issues, divorce, stress, trauma, PTSD, and more. With over years of experience in coaching and counseling, I firmly believe that no challenge is too great to overcome.
As someone in my mid-50s, I draw on both my professional expertise and real-life experience to help you make meaningful changes from within, then coach you to reflect those changes in your outer world. Combining the elements of acceptance and control, I support you in becoming your most intentional self, maintaining self-awareness at every moment, and steering your life in alignment with your goals.
Real-Life Experience
As both a coach and therapist, I understand the profound impact of emotional trauma and the need for major life changes. I hold you accountable for the tasks and goals that lead to transformation while helping you process the fear, anxiety, and sense of powerlessness that often come with navigating daily life. Through this approach, you can build the life you truly desire, one grounded in self-awareness, resilience, and fulfillment.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
My own life experiences led me to question the deeper meaning of life and inspired me to motivate others to reach their full potential. After going through a period of depression and emerging from it with inner transformation, I built a career in counseling, psychotherapy, coaching, and training. As a counselor, trauma-informed therapist, coach, trainer, and author, I have spent the last decade helping highly-driven leaders stop reacting, lead with intention, and live their most rewarding lives.
My work has attracted people eager to transform their lives under my guidance. As a mental health speaker and author, I have spoken extensively at corporate meetings and trainings, helping CEOs, professionals, and other high-performing executives gain insights and tools to manage their emotions and relationships. I believe that everyone has the potential to live a remarkable life if they cultivate a healthy mind and body.
In addition to providing professional counseling, I am also the author of two books: “I Love You, I Hate You”, a guide for couples navigating relationship challenges, and “The 3 S’Elves and the Long To-Do List”, a picture storybook. These works reflect my passion for helping people, whether through direct counseling or creative storytelling, to improve their relationships and overall well-being.
I have been featured in media outlets such as HealthToday, 1Twenty80, AugustMan, Twentytwo13, BFM 89.9, The Star, Malay Mail, Free Malaysia Today and more.
Rather than following the typical dry and clinical model, I blend psychotherapy with coaching and human performance training. This integrated approach creates a unique and transformative experience for my clients, shifting them from their most difficult times toward success and fulfillment.
